After more than a month of struggling, three trips to Mazda garage so far (which is one hour from my home), hours on support line to manipulate this card (because Mazda garage here is useless), it still remains invalid. So took the car to a Mazda garage (I live in France), they replaced something called the CMU (basically the infotainement system processor) but after that they have never been able to get the system to read the card. So I connected to Mazda toolbox, updated SD card successfully (or so it said), put the card back in the car but screen remained black. Called Mazda and they said it was just an update needed.
